Ross Couper Biography
I have a strong drive to acquire uniqueness in my images, by capturing the beauty of African surroundings and its wildlife by exploring photography in a way that would inspire people around the world to travel and visit the wild areas of Africa and experience the imagery that has been captured.
I was born in Zimbabwe into a family who were resolutely rooted in the bush. My interest in wildlife only grew as I explored my artistic views of painting, drawing and sculpturing wildlife and this was aided from an early childhood, as wildlife in Africa was my life.
I am a photographer that prefers to take time to really study my subjects and share my insights, which allows for intuitiveness when guiding photographers. I effectively capture moments that showcase the beauty of the wildlife in Africa and the scenery that embraces every inch of the continent.
I have engaged in extensive travel and through this global contact, I acquired a curiosity for culture and an interest in people and their origins. My authentic interest makes me not only a knowledgeable guide in Africa but also an inspiring and entertaining host with a discerning way of connecting with people…
