Symmetry in motion! This beautiful limited edition silver gelatin photograph captures the essence of close quarter racing of big yachts, heeled to starboard, their decks awash and the chase on. We see here the sailing boat Kariad chasing Nyria and White Heather. Amazing to think that this iconic image was taken in 1906 by Alfred John West with a home made camera!

Limited edition, silver gelatin photograph, printed using the original 12” x 10” glass plate, with 3 x 3.5mm conservation mountboard and presented behind 99% UV, non-reflective glass.
